How this list is made

For every programme we list, we looked for the firm's own statement on its consistency rule - on its website, help centre, FAQ and terms - and recorded one of three answers: the rule and its conditions, an explicit statement that there is none, or unknown when we found nothing either way. Only the second answer puts a programme on this page, and each links to the page where the firm says it.

A requirement for a minimum number of profitable days counts as a consistency rule here, even where a firm calls it something else - it limits how you may earn your profit in the same way.

Consistency rules: common questions

What is a consistency rule?

A limit on how much of your profit may come from a single day or trade - for example "your best day may not exceed 40% of total profit" - or a requirement for a number of profitable days. It usually blocks passing or a payout rather than failing the account. The consistency rule calculator shows how one applies to your own results.

Which prop firms have no consistency rule?

15 firms state that at least one of their programmes has no consistency rule at any stage - 35 programmes in all, listed above. Many of them run other programmes that do have one, so check the programme, not just the firm.

Why is a firm I know missing from this list?

Either it has a rule on every programme, or we could not find an official statement either way. A firm that simply does not mention a consistency rule is not listed: not finding a rule is not the same as the firm saying there is none.

Does "no consistency rule" mean there are no other payout conditions?

No. Firms without a consistency rule still have daily and maximum loss limits, profit targets, minimum trading days, payout schedules and sometimes a profit buffer before the first payout. Read each programme's full rules before buying.

Can a firm change its consistency rule?

Yes, and firms do - sometimes only for accounts bought after a date. This page reflects what the firms published when we last checked. The rule that binds you is the one in your account agreement at the time of purchase.
