TradingView prop firms: common questions

Can I trade a prop firm account directly from TradingView?

With the firms listed here, yes: the account is connected to TradingView through a supported integration, so you can place and manage trades from TradingView charts. For futures firms the connection usually runs through Tradovate; check the firm's platform list for the exact route.

Do I need a paid TradingView plan?

Not necessarily. Connecting a supported account does not by itself require a paid plan, but TradingView's plan limits - number of charts, indicators and alerts - still apply. Some firms bundle market data; check the firm's platform and data fees.

Are the challenge rules different when trading through TradingView?

No. TradingView is the front end; the account, its drawdown and its rules belong to the firm. Execution and the data feed come from the firm's platform behind the connection.
